Fire plate

The DUUV fire plate is an addition to the fire grill and has to be used together with the DUUV fire pit. The plate (4 mm stainless steel) can easily be placed on the grill and covers half of it. This plate can be used to prepare different plates like meat, fish, crustaceans and vegetables.

Compared to other barbecues the heat under the plate/grill is not influenced by putting the plate/grill higher or lower above the fire. Instead, you use the fire blow poker to push more or less glowing wood or briquettes under the plate. By using the DUUV fire grill combined with the fire plate you can prepare several different products at the same time, which is a great advantage.

MATERIal

The fire plate is made of stainless steel and has a thickness of 4 mm.

Sizes

The DUUV fire plate has half the sizes of the DUUV fire grill (35 x 35 cm) and covers a quarter of the DUUV fire pit. The fire plate weighs 4,5 kilograms.

Maintenance

We advise to clean the fire plate with water, soap and a sponge. Lemon juice or vinegar can be used to get rid of brown stains. You can also drip some water with detergent on the plate and brush stains away with a ball of aluminium foil. Never use sandpaper to remove food residues or dirt!
